Rwanda visa application

Step by Step: How to complete the Rwanda visa application form

Step 1: Filling out the application form

The first step that you can’t omit under any circumstances is reading about the Rwanda visa requirements. Once you’re sure you have everything you need to complete the application, you can begin.

The visa application form will ask for basic personal and passport information. Every field has to be completed before you submit it. Make sure the information is accurate to avoid processing delays.

Step 2: Settle the fees and await approval

Once you’ve completed the application form, you will need to pay for the visa fees using a bank card (it can be a credit or debit card).
If you did it successfully, you will receive an email of confirmation. If you don’t receive that email, contact our team for assistance.

Step 3: Outcome – approved or denied

After the established processing time, the government will decide if it wants to approve or reject your visa application (but don’t fret: it’s very unlikely it will be rejected). No matter the decision, you will be notified in the same way: via email.

Once you receive the approved visa, print a copy or two and carry it with you when you travel.

Don’t forget to read our guide to the Rwanda travel requirements: you will need more documentation besides the printed copy of your online visa.
